What are the production processes of calcium chloride

Calcium chloride production process can be divided into two kinds, one is acid method, the other is alkali method.

1. Most factories producing calcium chloride by acid method are located in mountainous areas. Calcium chloride is prepared by chemical reaction with limestone and hydrochloric acid.

Acid process flow: put hydrochloric acid and limestone powder into the reaction cylinder in proportion, adjust pH value and remove various impurities.

2. Most of the plants producing calcium chloride by alkali method are located in the salinization base, because they use the washing solution of soda plant.

Alkali process flow: raw material alkali washing solution - re drying - evaporation - concentration - calcium block making.

After the calcium block is prepared by the above two methods, there is no difference between the latter two methods.

According to different processes and methods, powdery, massive, granular and spherical calcium chloride can be prepared respectively.

The method of preparing anhydrous calcium chloride is through the process of drying and dehydration.
